Climate and environmental protection at Euscher
Acting sustainably, producing in a climate-friendly manner, working in an energy-efficient way—for many years, we have been working consistently to continuously optimize our ecological balance sheet with measures both large and small. The basis for this is already inherent in the nature of our business, as our precision deep-drawn parts are all made of metal and can therefore be recycled almost infinitely and returned to the recycling cycle.
In addition, we have implemented a wide range of climate protection, energy, and environmental projects over the years, whether within our production facilities, in cooperation with suppliers, or in our administration.
Through our membership in two corporate networks that are jointly committed to sustainable and environmentally conscious practices, we constantly receive new inspiration and ideas, which our in-house environmental management team then successfully translates into new projects.
Euscher honey
Bees are essential for a functioning ecosystem and are among the most useful animals of all. This makes it all the more important to protect them and take measures against bee mortality.
With our own flower meadow, we are doing our part and providing a home for two bee colonies. In return, we enjoy our own Euscher honey twice a year—produced by happy bees in Bielefeld.
And by the way: 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of our honey jars are donated to charity.
ÖKOPROFIT®
ÖKOPROFIT® is an environmental program for small and medium-sized enterprises from various industries. Specifically, participating companies receive professional business consulting and network with other companies in the region.
Various information and training opportunities accompany the project. Together with the consulting firm, the members set their own priorities in the project and obtain recognized certification. Since its inception, around 150 companies from Bielefeld and the surrounding region have successfully completed the program, achieving significant savings while also making an important contribution to municipal climate protection.

We are the 1,000th member of the Climate Protection Business Network, which connects companies that want to actively contribute to climate protection and position themselves for the future.
Various information and training opportunities support members on their path to climate-friendly use of resources. At the heart of the project is a digital platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices. In cooperation with chambers of industry and commerce, the supraregional network also offers introductory consultations, webinars, and training for trainees to become energy scouts.
Climate Initiative of the Business Community in OWL
Since January 2026, we have been a member of the “Climate Initiative of the Business Community in OWL.” A total of 85 well-known companies from the region have actively committed themselves to greater sustainability and climate neutrality on their own initiative. The path to achieving this is challenging and cannot be implemented immediately in all industries – nevertheless, there are already numerous measures and projects in place that show what is possible. The initiative makes this commitment visible – and we are delighted to be part of it.
The members of the OWL Climate Initiative represent the strong climate awareness of the regional economy – regardless of their industry and company size. Based on a voluntary commitment, each member company aims to operate in a climate-neutral manner at its location by the end of 2030 at the latest, at least in terms of Scopes 1 and 2 in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG).
